MIRAI League Kicks Off: A New Stage for Youth Darts
Updated: Sep 25
The future starts with a single throw. On 12th September, that future officially began.
The MIRAI League held its opening event at Forest5 darts cafe, SAFRA Mount Faber, welcoming young players from across Singapore for its very first session.
The day began with a special address from Mr. Sun Xuling, Managing Director of DARTSLIVE Singapore, who shared the meaning behind the name. "Mirai" means "the future" in Japanese, and the league was created to give the next generation of players a place to learn, compete and grow together.
Mr. Sun also introduced DARTSLIVE SEA YOUTH, a new platform for youth darts across Southeast Asia. Through the website and social media, young players, parents and coaches can now follow events, stories and opportunities from around the region.
The event welcomed many first timers and kids, and the smiles said it all. Whether it was their first dart or their hundredth, every player enjoyed the chance to step up to the oche.
One of the highlights of the day was the Best Team Cheer session. Teams brought their loudest voices and best moves, but Team SPIN and WIN stole the show with a backflip stunt that earned them a straight win and the biggest cheers of the day.
The first chapter of the MIRAI League has been written, and we can't wait to see how these players grow throughout the season.
